Nintendo of America has confirmed via press release that you can now pre-purchase Super Smash Bros for Wii U. As a new way to satiate consumers and avoid the release day rush, fans will be able to pre-purchase and pre-load the upcoming brawler for Nintendo’s latest home console. Those with a Nintendo Network ID will be able to buy Super Smash Bros within the eShop and pre-load it to their console – as long as the Wii U system is in standby mode.

Avoiding the wrath of uneven downloading times, those who wish to purchase the game digitally can pre-load the game and, when it releases on November 21 in North America, or November 28 in Europe, the final data will be downloaded to the console.
